This is a story that is still really hard for me to share.

In May of 2022, someone I really loved passed away of a Fentanyl overdose. It broke me. I started eating to cope.

Cookie dough. Every. Single. Day. Chocolate, ice-cream, cake, brownies, cupcakes.

I joke to my friends that “the cookie dough caught up to me”, but, it did. I got really sick. Suddenly there were a ton of restrictions on what I could and couldn’t eat.

“It’s fine, I’ll figure it out in the morning” I told myself.

I went to the grocery store the next day and walked up and down the aisles and couldn’t really find anything that felt any level of comforting or good to me.

It wasn’t anything new, millions of people share the same restrictions. Why couldn’t I find anything?

So, I got mad. I started grabbing ingredients off the shelves and stormed over to a friends house and into their kitchen. Unpacking the ingredients, I said (maybe yelled) “I’m going to create a million dollar cookie dough company” “NO! I’M GOING TO CREATE A BILLION DOLLAR COOKIE DOUGH COMPANY”.

Months of really…unfortunate tasting cookie dough later, we launched in March of 2023.
